Cherry Bakewell/Bird & Blend Tea Co

The tea, which is made from Chinese green tea, vanilla, cranberries, hibiscus, rosehip, apple, currants, blackcurrant, and red and blue cornflowers, brightens a shade of pink which makes me worry that the hibiscus and rosehips may be in control.
Hey there! I’m a twenty-something from Toronto, Ontario, Canada who loves dogs and has a bit of an obsession with tea. As a child I hated the things since all I ever knew was Red Rose (no crime to Red Rose). But a couple of years ago that all changed. I was on a diet and distressed for new tastes without adding calories and that is when I turned into tea. I started off by heading for all their tastes to Teavana and DAVIDsTEA, and I bought 100 g of about different teas, because I did not know any better. This was okay for the teas I liked but for those I did not I needed to find some method of getting rid of them.
That is not the flavor element but instead a topnote, Even though a that normal tartness is in the hibiscus and rosehips. The strongest flavor in my view is that the almond. The white tea which makes for a nutty/buttery combo which does and the vanilla help create the notion of a tart shell. That sour shell changes to a reddish fruit quality in the cranberries and currants, not a flavor but okay. That hibby/rosehip tartness pops at the back of your neck and takes you out.

It pushes towards dessert but it isn’t overly sweet or imitation tasting. In this way, the instagram published that motivated me to take this out of the drawer was correct. However, I only wish there was more cherry and less tart. Personally, I can do with a little more sweetness because the mixing of the shell and filling could be slightly one-note at times.

Bakewell Tart is the classic tea time deal with juicy cherries and almond. This green tea blend is bursting with all the exact same fruit juices and hints of almond nuts, making it the perfect day tea choice.

This Cherry Bakewell tea by Bird and Blend Co. has been sitting in my stash since January and that I continue looking past it and grabbing different options. I am not sure why this is not a flavor which makes me stop in my tracks. But when I saw it published on Instagram with the caption”This is dessert in a cup with no overly sweet or artificial tasting”, it certainly piqued my attention. Now I do know what there is a cherry bakewell tart but dessert in a cup seems good to me.
