Tea friends, I am BEYOND pumped to critique this tea to you today. Why, do you ask? Well, our lovely and sweet SororiTea-Sister, CuppaGeek, has launched her OWN line of amazing teas, and this is the very first one! Nichole is far too humble and sweet to brag on her very own teas, so I want to be the first (and certainly not the last) to do this: THIS WAS AWESOME. Whenever I saw the teas of Nichole go up for sale, I ordered a couple of goodies, and Nichole sent a few extras to me to test. Seeing as her teas arrived on one of our many unseasonably I chose the one that sounded the most yummy for cold-brewing, and instantly popped a couple of teaspoons to a glass mason jar overnight.
Hi there! I am a 27-year-old mental health residing with my fiancé, Mary along with our kitty in the Midwest! I’ve loved tea for as long as I can recall — in actuality , I have vivid memory of being four or five in a tea shop and being mesmerized by all the tea tastes and proclaiming that I”was going to be sort of grownup who drank tea, not coffee.” A stint living (and tea-drinking my way through) London and twenty-some decades after, I am still channeling that sassy four-year-old and enjoying my tea habit. When I am not sipping a cuppa, you’ll find me studying, doing yoga, travel, researching my city, planning our marriage and experimenting with different healthful and healing meals in my own kitchen.
I had a superbly and bright pink brew the morning after. Upon first sip, I knew that this is exactly what my dehydrated summer was craving– tart and a little sweet, fruity and lemonade-esque while still maintaining the integrity of this green rooibos (my fave) and green tea. I loved that the lemonade within this tea didn’t just come from lemon flavor, but from one of my favourite herbs (lemon verbena), and a plethora of other delicious fruit and citrus combinations. As delightful as this tea has been on its own it’s absolutely elevated to another level. The sour raspberry flavor (bolstered by just a hint of hibiscus) really shines, giving me that summer-fruit deliciousness that I crave out of May-September.

Overall, I was BLOWN AWAY by Nichole’s first go at blending her own tastes (seriously, if girl is this good straight from the gate, what is next to come?) . I’m dying to attempt more in her repertoire– a Doctor Who motivated green earl grey and herbal Cotton Candy blend top my list right now– and am so excited to find out what is next for this tea firm. Allow me to offer a large and happy congrats to our Sororitea-Sister, CuppaGeek!
